A multi-year global licensing agreement between HIT Entertainment and Mega Brands will see the licensee developing construction toy sets based on Thomas & Friends.

Mega Brands now holds the rights to develop new construction products based on characters from the popular boy-centric preschool property under its Mega Bloks brand and is set to launch new goods worldwide in spring 2010 as part of Thomas & Friends’ 65th anniversary celebration. Distribution is set for department stores, toy retailers, mass market retailers, specialty stores, e-tailers, wholesale clubs and at Day Out With Thomas events.
