A new deal with London-based Daktari Productions will see Fitz Roy Media handling the rights to the Daktari Park brand.

Fitz Roy will rep the IP’s online, feature film, TV/DVD and consumer products rights for the property inspired by African animal stories and adventures of wildlife veterinarian Dr. Sue Hart.

The first priority is an online virtual theme park, which will combine live-action footage of animals in the wild with animated characters and will house an e-commerce shop for licensed merch. Fitz Roy will then develop a feature-length animated special for theatrical, broadcast and DVD/VOD, followed by a 52 x 11-minute animated CGI TV series.
