People moves: Pollack upped at BBCW

Hoping to grow sales & co-pro and children’s activity State-side, BBC Worldwide has created two senior exec roles in the US, splitting its SVP of television sales, co-productions and children’s position. To that end VP Susanna Pollack has been bumped up to SVP children’s and children’s business development.

Pollack is now be responsible for growing BBCW’s kids brands in North and South America, primarily heading up the effort to launch an English-language CBeebies channel in the US.

Matt Forde, meanwhile, is relocating from London to BBCW’s New York office as EVP of sales and co-productions, where he’ll work with MD of sales & distribution Steve Macallister and Garth Ancier, president of BBCW America. He’ll spearhead sales and co-pro activity across all genres in the US and Latin America.
