Sanrio’s iconic kitty is ringing in 35 years with style, as Sanrio intros the Hello Kitty Colors program to commemorate the milestone anniversary.

Her value messages will be repped via her trademark bow in a range of colors, with red repping friendship, pink for cute, yellow for heartfelt, green for wish and lavender for sweet.

Sanrio is also planning worldwide celebrations, with global retailers rolling out Hello Kitty anniversary-themed merch beginning this September, and select stores continuing with the retail programs until the end of the year. Product will span a variety of categories, from apparel, jewelry and limited edition collectibles.

Meanwhile, fans around the world can join in the celebrations at the Sanrio Japan-hosted site at www.kitty35.com, while the US version of the site will launch this coming June, to house info on product launches, activities and events.
