Thomas & Friends on board for Easter retail promo

With Easter less than two weeks away, HIT Entertainment has signed a deal with UK retailer Hamley's for its Cartoon Crazy promo that will include Thomas & Friends-themed window and in-store activities.

With Easter less than two weeks away, HIT Entertainment has signed a deal with UK retailer Hamley’s for its Cartoon Crazy promo that will include Thomas & Friends-themed window and in-store activities.

The promo, which runs until May 11 at Hamleys’ Regent Street and Dumfries, Ireland stores, includes new product lines from licensees Tomy, Golden Bear and RC2, along with in-store contests to win tickets to the Thomas Land theme park.

Special Easter promos also include new and classic home entertainment releases at Play.com, and across HMV, Borders, Asda and Sainsbury’s stores throughout the month.

As well, ten UK Toys ‘R’ Us stores will also see a new Thomas & Friends in-store promo during Easter, with kids getting the chance to meet the Fat Controller during special Thomas-themed afternoons.

Confectionary partner Kinnerton has also released a new range of Thomas & Friends themed Easter egg products in Tesco, Morrison’s, Sainsbury, Asda, Coo, Aldi, and Waitrose.
