International children’s channel KidsCo has picked up first-run rights to Nelvana’s The Future is Wild and Dinosquad, marking a first for the broadcaster jointly owned by NBC Universal, Cookie Jar Group and Corus Entertainment.

Dinosquad (26 x 22 minutes) will be broadcast across KidsCo’s global feeds on an exclusive basis. Meanwhile, 26 x 22-minute The Future is Wild is slated to air on the net’s Central and Eastern European feed at the beginning of next month. According to MD Paul Robinson, KidsCo will be working to secure more first-run deals as the channel’s distribution footprint continues to grow.
