Looking to unify its affiliated companies under one common name, Moonscoop is integrating divisions Taffy Entertainment and Mike Young Productions under its banner for worldwide operations.

The rebranding will see CEO Nicolas Atlan making the move from Paris to LA this September, to head up Moonscoop’s US biz as executive chairman, working with L.A.-based principals and co-CEOs Mike Young and Bill Schultz and president Liz Young. There, Atlan will work on forging stronger ties between operating units around the world, extending the company’s programming slate and developing new series and partnerships, while boosting the company’s French-originated programming State-side.

On the consumer products end, Moonscoop has tapped Brigitte Legendre Benloulou from TF1 to helm merch efforts for French-speaking markets as Moonscoop’s new director of consumer products. Legendre Benloulou comes to her new role with 18 years of experience under her belt at the French broadcaster, having been involved in building brands such as Pokémon, Franklin and Barbapapa. She’ll report to Cynthia Money, president of worldwide consumer products and marketing, and work with France’s licensing manager Sebastien Fillion on such brands as Geronimo Stilton, Tara Duncan, Dive Olly Dive! and Twisted Whiskers.
