Moving from TV sets to handsets, Cartoon Network will soon be available as a 24/7 mobile channel to kids in Hong Kong on CSL’s 1O1O and one2free brands through CLS’s Studio on Demand service.
The service, a personal entertainment mobile channel, lets customers choose between 15 HD real-time TV channels and video on demand offerings with seven categories of full-length HD content. The VOD service also boasts a DVD-esque user interface, letting users pause, rewind, forward or resume play.
The new Cartoon Network mobile channel will also be 100% commercial-free. CSL, owned by Australia’s Telstra Corporation, has a network of more than 400 global mobile operators.
