Looking to expand its operations, indie distributor Echo Bridge Entertainment has created a new position of VP international sales, putting Emilia Nuccio in the role.

Looking to expand its operations, indie distributor Echo Bridge Entertainment has created a new position of VP international sales, putting Emilia Nuccio in the role.

NATPE marks Nuccio’s debut in the remit and she’s charged with overseeing sales operations in the US Hispanic market, as well as Latin America and Italy. She comes from her own consulting firm, Girasole International, where she worked with V-me, Channel Thirteen, BBC Worldwide and Ragdoll.

Nuccio’s no stranger to the Hispanic market, with previous territory experience under her belt that includes stints at The itsy bitsy Entertainment Company as president of international program and licensing sales. She also held a post at BBC Worldwide Americas as VP of Latin American sales, where she participated in creating joint-ventures for channel development and management, including the partnership between the BBC and Discovery Channels.
