Chorion’s Mr. Men and Little Miss characters will soon be the faces of UK-based charity Comic Relief’s fundraising event, Red Nose Day.

Core members of the cartoon cast are already featured on the charity’s website at www.rednoseday.com, as well as on Early Years Kits packed with fundraising suggestions that are distributed to nursery groups across the UK leading up to Red Nose Day on March 13, 2009.

Also, roughly US$2.97 of every sale of Mr. Funny’s Red Nose Day, a book illustrated by Adam Hargreaves that’s due out from Egmont on February 2 , will go to Comic Relief’s efforts to reduce poverty in the UK and Africa.

The Red Nose Day initiative is all about encouraging Brits through a promotional campaign launching in January to don a red nose and do something funny for money.
