People moves: Lionsgate promotes Michael Rathauser to SVP marketing

Michael Rathauser will take his nine years of experience at the home entertainment giant to his new role of SVP marketing.

In addition to continuing to oversee the strategy, marketing and management for Lionsgate Family Entertainment and StudioCanal library, Michael Rathauser will take his nine years of experience at the home entertainment giant to his new role of SVP marketing. He’ll continue reporting to EVP marketing Anne Parducci, as well as maintaining the partnerships he’s developed to help Lionsgate grow its family business and in the areas of digital technology and Blu-ray.

Rathauser, who came to the company as a brand manager at Artisan Entertainment that was eventually acquired by Lionsgate, oversaw the marketing and mass launch of the highly successful Baby Einstein brand, as well as the home entertainment launch of Speed Racer: The Next Generation.
