Stop-motion short series Domo has just made its US debut on Nicktoons Network and licensor Big Tent Entertainment in ramping up the merch program based on the comic character.

The shorts (26 x two minutes) featuring the Japanese icon and current UGC poster boy will air daily, with a new one premiering each week.

Earlier this year, Domo shorts launched across Nickelodeon’s international channels in Europe, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand.

Big Tent Entertainment had developed a full Domo merch program targeting the tween, teen, and young adult demos, and currently has the square brown character starring in a Halloween promotion at Target outlets across the US. Big Tent is looking to grow the program and is currently seeking opportunities in video games, beach, bedding, bath, home décor, footwear, food and beverage categories.
