In anticipation of the theatrical debut of High School Musical 3: Senior Year on October 24, US retailer JC Penney has launched a sweepstakes that will give one lucky fan exclusive access to the red-carpet premiere.

In anticipation of the theatrical debut of High School Musical 3: Senior Year on October 24, US retailer JC Penney has launched a sweepstakes that will give one lucky fan exclusive access to the red-carpet premiere.

The JCPenney Best Seat in the House High School Musical 3 Sweepstakes that runs until September 30 will select a winner to invite up to 100 guests to the screening event and will get to meet a Radio Disney personality.

Of course, the promo is aimed at driving consumers in-store to pick up High School Musical merch at the retailer, including apparel, home décor, cosmetics, youth electronics and games. As part of its partnership with Disney, JCPenney stores will be offering movie posters as a gift with purchase on any HSM goods from October 8 through November 5, 2008.

Additionally, Disney.com has launched a microsite sponsored by JCPenney. www.JCP.com/HSM3.
