Today Austraila’s ABC TV launched its free internet TV service ABC iView, available at abc.net.au./iview.

The service offers high-resolution, full-screen viewing of ABC content from its five channels including ABC Kazam!, the net’s kids channel.

Programs will update regularly and the net has pledged to increase the amount of content on the service throughout the coming months.

iView has its own built-in video player that requires no additional software to download or stream content. Users can watch the five channels, or create their own, by selecting individual programs and adding them to a playlist.
