People moves: AGP bolsters brand management lineup

American Greetings Properties has appointed Julie Davis as senior brand manager and Matt Schweitzer as brand manager.

American Greetings Properties has appointed Julie Davis as senior brand manager and Matt Schweitzer as brand manager.

As senior brand manager, Davis will focus on building and maintaining brand awareness, developing and managing marketing programs and liaising with key internal departments. She will concentrate her energies on Care Bears, Holly Hobbie and Maryoku Yummy.

Schweitzer, meanwhile, will be responsible for developing and executing plans for licensing the company’s proprietary brands with a focus on Strawberry Shortcake, Sushi Pack, Twisted Whiskers and Madballs.

Davis previously held down the post of senior manager, brand and marketing at DIC Entertainment, where she oversaw all brand marketing initiatives for Strawberry Shortcake. Prior to joining AGP, Schweitzer served as the senior manager of merchandising and media at Ragdoll USA.
