Cookie Jar Entertainment has inked an exclusive in-game advertising partner for online role-playing game Magi-Nation: Battle for the Moonlands.

GoFish, a youth entertainment and media network, will provide content-appropriate advertising support for the free-to-play adventure game. The advertising in Magi-Nation: Battle for the Moonlands will be incorporated into the player’s gaming experience and will be targeted to the eight to 14 year old demo.

The role-playing game is based on the toon of the same name which airs on Kids’ WB! in the US and on pubcaster CBC in Canada.

The series follows the adventures of 15-year-old Tony Jones, an average teen from Earth who finds himself mysteriously transported to the magical world of Magi-Nation.

The game is currently in open beta testing with a commercial launch set for early 2008. Interested open-beta participants can sign up by visiting www.magi-nation.com.
