KidScreen Summit is rolling out a new feature for this year’s edition taking place from February 13 to 15 in New York. We’re holding a contest for US and Canadian kids entertainment execs attending this year’s event. The winner of the top prize will get unique access to some of the biggest movers and shakers in the industry.

Entrants have a chance to win one of three exclusive lunches with a leading industry player of his/her choice drawn from a top-notch list that includes: Leigh Anne Brodsky, president of Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products; Marc Buhaj, SVP of programming for Jetix Europe; Steven DeNure, president of Decode Entertainment; Scott Dyer, EVP and GM, Kids Television of Corus Entertainment/Nelvana Ltd.; Kate Klimo, VP and publisher at Random House Publishing; Adina Pitt, VP of programming acquisitions at Nickelodeon and MTV Networks Kids and Family Group; Linda Simensky, PBS Kids senior director of children’s programming; and Ty Simpson, president and founder of Ty’s Toy Box.

The three winners’ packages also include limo service to and from the airport, a suite upgrade at the Hilton New York, a fitness center pass and a US$50 Starbucks giftcard.

Contestants have an opportunity to earn extra ballots (and chances to win) by inviting up to five of their colleagues to enter. The contest runs from January 7 to February 4 at http://kidscreencontest.vpi.net. Full conference agenda and registration details for KidScreen Summit 2008, meanwhile, can be found at www.kidscreensummit.com. Good luck!
