Noggin will be working a lot of overtime in the New Year as it transforms into a 24/7 network starting on Monday, December 31 at 6 p.m., splitting off from teen sister net The-N, which is also getting its own channel.

To kick off the format change, Noggin’s Moose and Zee will host the net’s first primetime movie marathon featuring the premiere of a new 90-minute Franklin movie, Franklin and the Turtle Lake Treasure. The preschool movie marathon will also feature the hour-long Dora the Explorer movie, Dora Saves the Mermaids.

As for new series, look for 26-ep toon Toot & Puddle, based on the best-selling book series by Holly Hobbie, to start airing in fall 2008.
