UK-based Cosgrove Hall Films has inked a deal with Nickelodeon UK for its brand-new animated property Eddie Retractorhead.

The deal will see a series of 10 x one-minute interstitials produced exclusively for Nickelodeon UK going to air in 2008. If the show proves to be a hit with Nick audiences, Cosgrove Hall will be looking to turn the gag-driven shorts into a a long-form series.

The main character Eddie is an ‘excitable’ guy who loves nothing more than talking about himself. Each surreal interstitial features Eddie, who lives with his best friend Blam Blob in an inflatable pie house located in wacky Area 52.
