BKN International has tallied its 2007 figures and the results are good. The company marked a 29% sales increase and a 29.5% bump in its gross income compared to last year’s figures.

The global animation production and distribution company that licenses and markets its products in approximately 95 countries in 30 or so languages has reported a record net income for the third straight year.

Total sales increased to US$24.2 million from US$18.7 million last year, while net income was up 12% to US$7.4 million, and the value of its programming rights increased to US$79.8 million, a substantial jump from US$54.4 million in the previous year.

Allen Bohbot, chairman and CEO, was delighted with the results and expects the business to continue to expand in 2008. He singled out upcoming seasons of Zorro – Generation Z and Dork Hunters from Outer Space as assets primed to boost sales in 2008.
