Jetix UK, ASDA turn parents on to summer activities

In an effort to squelch the 'I'm bored' chorus traditionally sung by kids during summer holidays, Jetix UK and retailer ASDA are helping parents fill those long, lazy days with a free activity guide. Hitting ASDA outlets tomorrow, Mum Saves Summer kits are packed with more than US$1,800 worth of exclusive vouchers, including free tennis lessons, two-for-one theme park admissions and free Brazilian football lessons. A second guide is in the works for nationwide newsstand distribution on July 26. While the first kit showcases activities that expend energy, the second edition focuses on project and craft ideas.

In an effort to squelch the ‘I’m bored’ chorus traditionally sung by kids during summer holidays, Jetix UK and retailer ASDA are helping parents fill those long, lazy days with a free activity guide.

In addition to the guide, Jetix UK has souped up its website with more activities to while away the hours at www.jetix.co.uk/mumsavesummer, including downloads, games and celebrity reviews.
