CN to launch first live-action series

Cartoon Network's original hit movie Re-Animated is being spun into a full-fledged series set to debut this fall. Out of Jimmy's Head picks up where the movie left off, following the adventures of Jimmy Roberts, who received the brain of famous cartoonist Milt Appleday during an emergency transplant and now carries a cast of wacky cartoon characters around in his head 24/7.

Cartoon Network’s original hit movie Re-Animated is being spun into a full-fledged series set to debut this fall. Out of Jimmy’s Head picks up where the movie left off, following the adventures of Jimmy Roberts, who received the brain of famous cartoonist Milt Appleday during an emergency transplant and now carries a cast of wacky cartoon characters around in his head 24/7.

Creators and writers Adam Pava and Tim McKeon are on board as executive producers, and the series is being produced by Brookwell McNamara Entertainment, the studio behind That’s So Raven. Cartoon Network Studios is taking care of the animation sequences.
