HIT gears up to celebrate the purple one’s 20th

It's hard to believe the song stylings of the giant purple dino first struck a chord with US preschoolers some two decades ago, but it's true. And HIT Entertainment is marking Barney's 20th birthday in an appropriately large fashion. The dino-sized spectacular kicks off in September with a 20-city US jaunt dubbed the Purple Bus Tour, sponsored by master toy licensee JAKKS Pacific, in partnership with Toys 'R'Us and the Children's Miracle Network. It will start on the West Coast and visit top markets through next spring.
