Taffy Entertainment has appointed veteran marketing exec David Di Lorenzo to the post of VP of retail marketing. Di Lorenzo is now responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of merchandising and promotional programs across all levels of retail distribution in North American. He’s also working with Taffy’s current UK MD Louise O’Toole to further expand the company’s presence in the territory. Identifying new product and business opportunities, while working with licensees to develop sales and marketing strategies across all Taffy properties is another key part of the new remit.
Di Lorenzo held the post of VP of retail development at DIC Entertainment just before joining Taffy, and served 11 years at Universal Studios Consumer Products Group prior to that. He now reports toTaffy president of worldwide consumer products and marketing, Cynthia Money.
