Charlie and Lola will spawn a new fashion line, thanks to a deal with New York-based Children’s Apparel Network that was brokered by the preschool property’s North American licensing agent, The Wildflower Group.

A wide array of clothes for infants, toddlers and girls sizes four to 16 are pegged to start hitting retail this spring, led by T-shirts featuring the distinctive CelAction animation style of the series, which is produced by London, England’s Tiger Aspect Productions. Expect the full collection to trickle into major retailers by the holiday season, encompassing sweatshirts, fashion tops, sweaters and swimwear, as well as bottoms, dresses, skirts/skorts, overalls and coveralls.

In the U.S., Charlie and Lola airs each weekday at 10 a.m. and weekends at 11 a.m. as part of Disney Channel’s Playhouse Disney programming block.

The apparel deal comes on the heels of Wildflower granting licenses to Rix Products for car and board games and to Celebrate Express for paper party goods.
