Scheduled to hit bookstores in March, Scholastic Storybook Collectibles puts a new twist on old classics. The line will launch with titles (US$9.99 each) featuring the tales of Cinderella and Thumbelina. Targeting girls ages to three to six, the books take the readers through the main characters’ familiar adventures, stopping along the way to play games and activities and collect tokens – jewels for Cindy and flowers for Thumbelina. The tomes are meant to be enjoyed by more than one girl at a time, and the player with the most tokens at the end of the story wins.
