Dupuis reshapes its distribution strategy on two continents

French studio Dupuis has signed new representation to build broader, multi-platform deals for its properties. L.A.’s PorchLight Entertainment has signed up to sell Cedric and Kid Paddle to broadcasters in the U.S., while Johannesburg, South Africa’s Fairmead will pitch the entire Dupuis catalogue to TV, video and in-flight buyers in South and English-speaking Africa and the Middle East. Dupuis is also close to completing video deals in Germany, Finland and Austria for Cedric, and the studio is looking at offers in Spain and the U.K. for Kid Paddle’s TV, video, licensing, mobile content and multimedia application rights.
