American Champion Entertainment (San Jose, California, 408-288-8199): Joy Tashjian has been named president and CEO of American Champion Marketing Group, the newly formed subsidiary of American Champion. She will be responsible for overseeing licensing, merchandising and marketing of the property Adventures with Kanga Roddy.

Bradford Licensing (Upper Montclair, New Jersey, 973-509-0200): Nicole Iozzi has been promoted to VP from her position as director of sales and marketing.

Canal + (Paris, France, 33-1-44-25-1000): Patrick Tillieux has been appointed chief executive of Canal + Netherlands and chief executive of Canal + Flanders.

Children’s Television Workshop Magazine Group (New York, New York, 212-595-3456): Deborah Kenny has been named to the newly created position of group publisher. Her responsibilities involve overseeing five magazines, including Sesame Street Parents.

Cinar Films (Montreal, Canada, 514-843-7070): Michael Légaré has been appointed to the new position of VP, on-line.

Columbia TriStar Home Video (Culver City, California, 310-277-4000): Paul Culberg heads up the new position of executive VP worldwide, and Marshall Forster is now senior VP sales North America.

Columbia TriStar Television Group (Los Angeles, California, 310-202-1234): Suzanne Austin has been upped to VP marketing and promotions and Thomas Moynes comes on board as VP finance, international television. James M. McNamara has been named president and CEO of Telemundo Network, an American Spanish language network.

Disney Channel (Burbank, California, 818-569-7500): Frank Scotello has been promoted from director to executive director of the central region. Similarly, John Najarian has been upped from director to executive director, western region. Both will oversee distribution of Disney Channel and Toon Disney in their respective areas.

Disney Consumer Products (Burbank, California, 818-567-5401): Stephen de Kanter has been named president of Global Licensing, a new organization overseeing Disney’s worldwide merchandising and licensing operations.

DSI Toys (Houston, Texas, 713-365-9900): Michael J. Lyden has been named president and CEO of the company. He was formerly president of Tyco’s U.S. division and executive VP of Tyco Toys.

Egmont Group (Copenhagen, Denmark, 45-35-86-0586): Kenneth Plummer has been named senior VP and GM for video, theatrical and games distribution.

EM.TV Merchandising AG (Munich, Germany, 49-89-957-150): Ulf Vespermann joined as executive VP, head of merchandising from Walt Disney Germany.

Fox Family Channel (Los Angeles, California, 310-235-9700): Nancy Redford has been named VP of programming and development.

Fox Kids Europe (London, England, 44-171-805-7120): Jean-Philippe Randisi will take on the new position of managing director, Saban Merchandising Europe. Randisi was formerly VP in charge of Walt Disney Records in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

GEM-GMG Endemol (London, England, 44-171-462-9000): Tatiana Kober has joined as children’s sales manager from her position as a sales executive at BBC Worldwide. She will be building the GEM kids catalog, focusing on live-action projects.

Harvey Entertainment (Los Angeles, California, 310-789-1990): Braxton Pope has been named executive director of theatrical production. He will be in charge of building on the Casper franchise. Alisha Serold is also coming on board as executive director of production and acquisitions, in charge of direct-to-video development. New animated projects going DTV include Richie Rich and Wendy the Good Witch. Sean Gorman is the director of creative affairs and will head TV development, and Dan March is now the director of new media. (New York, New York, 1-800-660-3573): Peter van Roden has been appointed CEO and president of this Internet research and educational service. He leaves the Jim Henson Company, where he was senior VP of production and themed entertainment.

Infogrames Entertainment (San Jose, California, 408-289-1200): Steve Ackrich has been upped to VP of development for the North American action and adventure division.

Interactive Television Entertainment (Copenhagen, Denmark, 45-33-26-5600): Erik St. Anthony has been appointed director of multimedia. He will be responsible for the company’s CD-ROM, PlayStation and Game Boy formats in North America. ITE handles Hugo Saves Christmas, Thomas and Tim and the Magic Oak series. (San Francisco, California, 415-837-5750): Louis Roitblat comes on board as VP of marketing for the on-line retailer specializing in family-oriented entertainment products. Roitblat was formerly a senior marketing executive at Mattel.

MTV Networks Latin America (Miami, Florida, 305-535-3700): Scot McBride has been upped to CFO from his position as director of financial planning for MTV Networks in New York.

Pacific Data Images (Palo Alto, California, 650-846-8100): Jennifer Thomas heads up the commercial division as executive producer. Thomas just completed a CG/live-action international ad for Pepsi. She joins PDI from the KFC campaign at Young & Rubicam, New York.

Salter New Media (Halifax, Canada, 902-420-1577): Harriet Reisman takes over as president of the company whose Internet content includes, a hip hop site. The Webco, which recently completed equity financing of US$7.5 million, is an affiliate of Salter Street Films, producer of the family series Emily of New Moon.

Sega of America (Redwood City, California, 415-665-8000): Charles Bellfield joins as director of marketing communications, Martha Hill is the sports marketing director, Heather Kashner comes on board as consumer promotions manager, and Kathleen Joyce is event marketing manager.

Total Entertainment Network (San Francisco, California, 415-778-3500): Nick Rush has been named VP of programming, a newly created post at the Internet family games company.

United Media (New York, New York, 212-293-8500): Eleanor Powers has been promoted to senior VP, corporate development. Joshua Kislevitz is senior VP, domestic licensing. Bobby Chowdhury is now chief technology officer for Scripps Ventures.

Universal Studios (Universal City, California, 818-777-1000): Kenton Low has been named senior VP of corporate marketing and Universal Studios On-line. In this new position, he will be responsible for the development and execution of global corporate strategic marketing programs, and will oversee Web site development and e-commerce initiatives.

Viacom Consumer Products (Hollywood, California, 213-956-5000): Nancy Bassett has come on board as VP of international licensing. She was formerly director of merchandising and licensing for Alliance Atlantis Communications.

Walt Disney Records (Burbank, California, 818-973-4361): Scott Turner has been appointed VP, CFO. Turner joins the company from EMI Music Distribution where he was VP of finance.

Walt Disney (Burbank, California, 818-560-1000): The company announced four new president and managing director positions for Walt Disney International. Etienne de Villiers will head up the European post, Michael O. Johnson takes the Asian position, and Diego Lerner helms the Latin American outfit. Paul Saleh was named senior VP and CFO of Walt Disney International. Selby Hall has been named executive VP of brand development and marketing for Walt Disney International Europe. Niall Curran also joins the European division as executive VP of operations.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products (Burbank, California, 818-954-7890): Mark Matheny has been promoted to executive VP of international licensing. Patti Buckner has been upped to VP of apparel, U.S. sales. Salvador Viramontes Checa has been named GM of the new office in Mexico City. Jennifer Sechrest Bellman has come on board as director of live events. Kevin Bricklin has been named director of book and magazine production, a new position at Warner Bros. Worldwide Publishing. Nathalie Wonderling has been promoted to the position of marketing director of international licensing from manager of international licensing.
