To mark the beginning of Black History Month in February, HarperCollins Children’s Books is offering retailers a promotional counter display featuring a mix of notable black-history books for kids. Titles contained in the 33-copy display include Brown Angels; The Drinking Gourd: A Story of The Underground Railway; Honey, I Love and Other Poems; Harriet Tubman: Conductor on the Underground Railroad; Rosa Parks; No Turning Back: A Novel of South Africa; Escape from Slavery; Sounder and Barefoot: Escape on the Underground Railway. Right now, retailers can purchase the Black History Topshelf Display and books for US$166.25, or they can buy the titles individually, which range in price from US$3.95 to US$5.95.
