Ciné-Groupe Media, the multimedia distribution arm launched by Montreal’s animation producer Ciné-Groupe, has acquired Productions Pandore, a 15-person digital production company based in the same city. The newly merged Ciné-Groupe/Pandore is working on several interactive projects based on Ciné-Groupe’s 20-title library of animated TV and film fare. The first is a DVD collection of L’aventure de l’écriture, a French-language series airing on TV5 and Télé-Quebec that targets young francophones in both North America and Europe.

Also on the production slate is a Web site for preschoolers called Les Sentiers de l’aventure (Adventure Paths) that’s expected to debut on the Net in September.
