KidScreen surveyed industry professionals to find out what campaigns of the last year were winners for our Best Promotions of the Year. As more and more entertainment players enter the kid tie-in arena, a lot of ‘same old, same old’ promotions could be seen among the promo entries of the last year. Creativity flourished, however, as some contenders eschewed the ‘me, too’ approach in favor of innovation, novelty and, in some cases, outrageousness. These standout campaigns succeeded not only in terms of hard numbers, but also in terms of boosting the profiles of the partners involved. Vive la différence!
