For the first time ever, this year’s Toy Fair will feature a designated area called Specialty Source for manufactururers that dedicate 51% of their product lines to educational and specialty toys. One party that has already confirmed its attendance is the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA), an organization that represents the specialty market. In addition to maintaining a booth at Specialty Source, ASTRA will be sponsoring a seminar for its members. Specialty Source will open its doors on Thursday, February 11, one day earlier than the other Toy Fair exhibit areas.
