MIP Interactive, the first on-line virtual program market launches at MIPCOM next month. The service, supplied by Paris, France-based Reed Midem, the group which organizes MIPCOM, provides 24-hour information about what is being bought and sold.
Florence Giacometti, electronic development director for MIP Interactive says: ‘Demand from the community is why we felt this would be a useful and necessary service.’
Users register and describe their profile in order to receive targeted information about relevent shows, companies and markets.
The site (www.mipinteractive.com) has undergone testing since April.
