*Campbell’s hooks up with Bugs Bunny Road Runner video
Warner Home Video is prepping for the February 3 release of its feature-length animated video The Bugs Bunny Road Runner Movie with several promotional campaigns. Eight million units of Campbell’s new V8 Splash will contain a US$3 mail-in rebate for the video. An instant-win, under-the-label contest will offer a trip for four to Hollywood, Looney Tunes video libraries, Warner Bros. Studio Store gift certificates and free V8 Splash product.
*Disney goes nautical in Toyko
The Walt Disney Company, in partnership with Oriental Land Co. Ltd., has announced that a new theme park, Tokyo DisneySea, will open in the fall of 2001. DisneySea will sit next to Tokyo Disneyland Park overlooking Tokyo Bay. It will feature seven different ‘ports of call,’ live shows and events, shopping and dining. Toyko Disneyland, which opened in 1983, was the first Disney theme park to be built outside of the U.S.
