- New French on-line service targets kids
PARIS: French-language on-line service Infonie and Infogrames, its parent company, are making an effort to attract kids with their new Infokids service. The new service is entirely dedicated to children of all ages and their parents. It also has a section called MiniKids, which is specifically geared to children three to six years old.
-7th Level reaches for new heights with Kids’ World
Software publisher and developer 7th Level is spinning off Kids’ World, Inc., a subsidiary that will concentrate on educational titles. Scheduled to launch in March, it will attempt to create brand awareness among children, parents and teachers. Kids’ World will be responsible for new and existing educational products, including the new Kids’ World Online Web site (www.kidsworld.com), the Great Adventure series starring Howie Mandel and the fledgling Virgil Reality line. 7th Level will continue to produce games for PC and Macintosh platforms under its own label.
