More than 2,000 videos consisting of two-minute news stories were submitted by high school student production teams across the U.S. in a national contest sponsored by Panasonic and created by CNN Sales and Promotion and Turner Educational Services.

The contest invited students to form production teams a writer, producer, camera person, correspondent and editor to create a two-minute news story on hard news, sports or lifestyles features.

Three teams from Huntsville Alabama, Edmond Oklahoma, and Parkland Florida won a trip to Atlanta to collect $1,000 and to appear on a television show to air their videos.
